12th August 2012 Fishtails Inn Dales Run

For this rescheduled ride, meet at 9.30 for 10.15 start from the Kings Arms at Hale, on the A6 approx. 5.5 miles north of Jct. 35 for Carnforth on the M6.

A slight change of route is planned for this year. We will ride via Kirkby Stephen instead of Appleby.

Fuel is available approx. 1 mile before Hale.  Please ensure tanks are full at start. Availability of fuel is limited over much of the route.

Cross B6254 and A684 to Paddy lane.

North to Meal Bank-A685 Tebay

Arrive Kirkby Stephen       11 .15 brief stop.  Halfway down high street on the right.

Tan Hill Inn                       11 .45 brief stop.  Regroup

East to Whaw, Langthwaite, to

Reeth.                                12 .30 lunch stop.  Approx. 1 hour.

West to B6270 Fletham, Low Row, Thwaite.

South to Buttertub Pass, High Shaw to

Hawes.                               2 .15 no stop

South B6255 to Ingleton ( White Scar Caves ) stop for drinks and back to base.

North West A65 Kirby Lonsdale, Crooklands, Milnthorpe, Hale. (for an easy run in)
